3 Reasons Why Coaching Saves You Time

"The bad news is Time flies. The good news is, You're the Pilot" - Michael Altshuler

Time is more valuable than money. You can always get more money...but we can never get more time. So we want to ensure we make the most of the time that we do have.

More time with our families, holidays in beautiful locations, quality time with great friends. However you like to 'spend' your time, it's essential that the work we do is productive & efficient, so that we have more time to do the things we love.

This is where COACHING can actually help you save time. Coaching is an ROI of your time. As you invest time to Coach your teams and subordinates, you are actually saving your future self ‘HOURS’ of time. Here are 3 simple reasons why Coaching saves you time;

Reason#1 - You Empower Others - As you Coach others to be their best, you're actually empowering them to be better, to be more efficient & more productive, thereby getting more done in less time. As you surround yourself with a team of productive people, you will free up your time to focus on the things you want.

Reason#2 - Thinking for Themselves - Do you ever fall into the trap of TELLING your teams the solution to the challenge or problem they are facing? If you always tell them what to do, what is the result? That's right...they'll keep coming back and ask "How do I fix this?". So rather than telling them the solution, ask them "What do you think is a good solution". Yes, this will take a little longer in the beginning, but remember, this is an investment in your time. An investment in which you get your ROI. With enough persistence, eventually, your subordinates will come up with their own solutions, and will stop running to you with every little problem that they have.

Reason#3 - Effective Delegation - As you use Coaching as a tool for effective delegation, you're creating more of Reason No.1 & 2. This trust that you place into your team, by delegating tasks and projects that are slightly higher than their skill set, creates greater loyalty and more time for you to do what needs doing.
